Fortune 500 Manufacturing and Technology Company Leases Prime Spaces

A Fortune 500 manufacturing and technology company partnering with a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) has chosen North Fork as the ideal location for its expansion. The company is set to lease nearly 18,500 square feet of physical science lab space in Town Center Three and an additional 16,000 square feet of industrial/flex space at 1641 Edlich Drive. John Pritzlaff and Jenny Stoner of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer facilitated the lease negotiations on behalf of the UVA Foundation.

"We recently relocated the DataShapes HQ from Silicon Valley to Charlottesville, and North Fork was the obvious choice for our new home."

SRC, Inc. Expand Operations

Not-for-profit research and development corporation, SRC, serves the defense and intelligence industries, is nationally recognized in the design, development, and manufacturing of advanced radar, electronic warfare, and communications systems for land, sea, air, and space has expanded its current footprint to more than 17,000 square feet at Town Center Two, 1001 Research Park Boulevard.

This expansion highlights North Fork's commitment to fostering growth in various sectors, including intelligence. Last year, a study by the UVA Weldon Cooper Center revealed the defense sector to be the second most significant contributor to the Central Virginia economy, following the University of Virginia, with an annual impact of slightly over $1.2 billion. North Fork’s proximity to Rivanna Station, as well as to the Washington DC area, provides an ideal setting for organizations engaged in national defense initiatives.
