Need in-person service for a DMV transaction you can't complete online or by mail?
DMV Connect, the DMV's "office in a suitcase," provides nearly every DMV service, including:
- Driver's licenses and ID cards
- Titles and registrations (title is mailed)
- License plates
- Driver transcripts
- Disabled parking placards or plates
- Address changes
- Passenger vehicle and CDL knowledge testing (not available at all visits)
- Virginia vital records (birth, death, marriage and divorce certificates are mailed)
- E-ZPass transponders
- Hunting and fishing licenses
Appointments are required! DMV Connect cannot conduct road skills testing, vital records transactions, and HAZMAT fingerprinting. You can complete a titling transaction with DMV Connect, but your title will arrive by mail in 14 days.
DMV Connect accepts cash, cards, and checks as forms of payment. They cannot accept Apple or Google Pay.
